Our deluxe silicon fuzz is custom built from the ground up according to the buyer’s specifications. After placing your order we will contact you to go over your build options.
We make both low gain and high gain options available, utilizing a host of vintage silicon transistors including:
Assorted NOS BC108/109 “B” gain silver cans, medium high gain
NOS Texas Instruments BC183, high gain
NOS Telefunken BC108C, high gain (a shop favorite)
NOS Tesla KC507, low medium gain
NOS RUSSIAN KT315G orange bars, low medium gain
NOS 2N222A’s, low gain
NOS Amperex A115, low gain
NOS TI BC239C, high gain
NOS Motorola 2N5088, high gain
NOS BC209C, high gain
NOS Soviet KT3126A, low gain flying saucers
NOS National Semi 2N4123, low gain
NOS Soviet KT3102EM, high gain, original V7 Green Russian Big Muff transistors
NOS Toshiba 2SC372’s, medium high gain, ripping fuzz tones, hair on cleanup
Our deluxe silicon fuzzes all offer an internal bias trimmer for Q1 and an external bias knob for Q2 unlocking a full range of tones. Other custom options like bass boost switches, battery hookups, input load trimmers, etc can also be added at buyer’s request.
The deluxe fuzz can be built out on our hand painted veroboard or our custom eyelet boards. They can be made with dial indicators in a standard enclosure or without dials in a special edition Gorva S90 metallic sparkle enclosure. All are true bypass and use a standard center negative Boss style power supply.
