WASP GERMANIUM DISTORTION / FUZZ
The WASP is our take on a modified three-knob tone bender with germanium transistors. It’s loud, oh so very loud. True to the original this one is made to sit on the verge of fuzz and provides harmonically rich, heavy distortion. We’ve included a presence knob to help control how forward things sit in the mix. This is basically a very focused tone control that really works great on this circuit. Located inside the pedal is a bias pot to adjust the gain coming out of the q3 transistor. This will roll off a bit of gain and allow you to dial in different tones to your own taste.
